My name is Jose Reis and I am an architect with over 20 years of experience, the last 8 with national homebuilders such as Lennar and K Hovnanian. My experience with these homebuilders has exposed me to the "other side", from the stand point that I performed as an architect but with the twist that my "client" was my employer. This experience expanded my ability to think as the client and allowed me to use my professional education and experience to create designs that were aesthetically pleasing and at the same time efficient and cost effective. I have become very adapt at finding cost savings by small redesigns of the homes/projects as well as finding cost savings in within the construction methods and materials being used.
